The Kennedys Movie, the little (8 episodes) movie that we almost didn't see.  It has been said by younger people who did not live through the time have said that this movie is not true.  That this story is all made up.  As an old lady that lived through this era in Chicago, I am here to tell you, when I watch it I feel like I am in my teens again.  This story is true as I remember it.  I was an only child and very aware of the news.  People who have put the Kennedys on a pedistal are niave.  We all know Joe was no saint and that is the  way he is portrayed.  I am anxious to see if the Chicago mafia rears its ugly head again around the time of the assasination.

Bobbie is being portrayed as a very intellegent partner in the White House and Jackie is being portrayed as an eager first lady that makes a difference in fashion, the White House decor and a grand political partner.  Greg Kinear is doing a great job as John F Kennedy who had more than his share of crisis situations to deal with.

This is a look at the Kennedys as they actually were instead of the Camelot myth.  I have hung on every word and I hope you do too.  Tell me what you think if you dare.
